Our town has been invaded!! It started out around Easter. I was preparing the ground for my strawberry plants to go in. I find bugs crawling out of the ground. Thinking they were grubs, I thought my strawberry plants were done for... however... we find now that they were in fact Cicadas. They are EVERYWHERE!!

The sound is much more deafening than this video gives them credit for.
The sounds they make just started this week. And when they fly away (or toward you) they screech!! **can't figure out the video posting, but I'll let you know it is up**
